It’s Christmas time again. The season of goodwill to all men, women and children.
Time to enjoy good food and wine in the company of friends and family.

To help you on your way, we have lots of great beer and mulled wine as well as our usual selection of fine wines and jolly good food, together with roaring log fires, and Christmas trees!

On Christmas Day we will be open for drinks and serving a special lunch, booking required in advance

Festive Menu

Available from Monday 1st December.
Monday to Saturday 12.00-2.30pm & 6.00-9.30pm

Roasted parsnip soup + olive oil + parmesan
Lemon cured salmon + capers + dill creme fraiche
Mushrooms, pinot grigio + cream + garlic pizzette
Chicken liver parfait + red onion jam + toast

Spit-roasted chicken + onion & chestnut stuffing + pig in blanket + sage jus + frites.
Grilled salmon + piedmont peppers + basil pesto +  new potatoes
Daube of beef + sangiovese wine + spiced beetroot + whipped potato
Roasted pumpkin & sweet pepper gnocchi + tomato, mozzarella & rocket.

Plum pudding + brandy sauce
Dark chocolate marquis + orange & vanilla mascarpone
Apple & blackberry crumble + vanilla  ice cream
Italian cheeses + quince jam + biscuits

Roasted butternut soup with fresh ginger
Smoked salmon, red caviar and iceberg salad with white toast and lemon crème fraiche
Duck liver pate and red onion chutney with toasted brioche
Roasted mushrooms , wilted spinach and chablis cream with garlic croutons

Champagne sorbet and melon syrup

Traditional roast turkey, honey roast vegetables, sage and chestnut stuffing with all the trimmings
Pan fried duck breast, green beans, new potatoes with red wine and orange sauce
Roast beef, basket of root vegetables with herb Yorkshire pudding and beef jus
Oven baked lemon sole, ginger scallop mousse, steamed broccoli, baby carrots and white wine sauce
Salmon wrapped in parma ham with honey roast vegetables, asparagus and champagne sauce
Vegetable millefeuille with aubergine, courgettes, butternut squash, white mint and tarragon sauce
