Welcome to The Royal Saracens
Is there a better way to relax than to enjoy good company, great food and drink by the water? We don’t think so. The Royal Saracens has re-opened as something totally different; a stylish country pub + dining venue in the beautiful town of Beaconsfield.
Full of fresh food, warm hospitality and a stylishly modern feel, The Royal Saracens has finally been re-invented as the pub it always should have been.
The menu is simple and contemporary with lots of tempting homely dishes that will always please. The emphasis is on quality with fresh ingredients produced by a great Head Chef and his food-loving team. As well as fresh fish, great steaks and spit roasted meats, there are lighter options such as freshly prepared salads.
The wine list has a balance of New and Old World wines with a variety of styles to choose from. For a special occasion there are also some great Champagnes. We also have 10 different beers on tap from continental lagers, to European speciality beers, as well as great ales like the award-winning Timothy Taylor Landlord.
The Royal Saracens dates back to the 18th century and was a working coaching inn until the Great War. It is even thought that the original site held a tavern as far back as the 12th century and was a regular haunt of Richard I. With plenty of log fires and cosy corners, guests are welcome to nestle in the corner and spend some indulgent time not worrying about everyday life.
A large and vibrant dining area reverberates with chatter as guests catch up with friends. The most important feature is the people that look after you. It is the attention to detail of Danny’s team that really will make your visit memorable.
